The supreme court has ruled several times in cases like DeShaney v. Winnebago County and Warren v. District of Columbia in favor of the government’s monopoly on “police services” not having any obligation to protect your life, freedom, and property. Imagine that. You are being forced to fund a government “service” they don’t even have to provide. So what is alternative? How would security services be provided in a free-market society? What about warlords, serial killers, and those who seek to initiation violence upon you in the absence of government?
About the Speaker:
An anarcho-capitalist from Richmond, Virginia whose primary passion is engaging in Liberate RVA outreach activism for a free-market society based on consent. Secondary passion includes long moonlit walks to the liquor store while decrying ABC’s monopoly on distilled spirits.

Perhaps you would like to sharpen your argumentation style against the logical fallacies of both left and right wing politics? Then this is definitely the place to be in order to develop and improve your art of rhetoric.
